What is S.A.G.E. ?

S.A.G.E. or Specialized Adaptation Guidance Engine will be a locally hosted, AI enhanced solution and part of the beginning work of the AetherOS long term project.

The Idea

AI is being increasingly used for a variety of projects and tasks. Large, commercial LLMs are fast and interesting, but cost usage tokens or subscriptions for users to access. S.A.G.E. is being designed as the local, in house AI LLM that will connect to a second brain, analyze tasks, To Do's, and calendars to remind and enhance daily tasks as well as record what is happening. It will further be integral as part of AetherOS to manage multiple devices connecting to a main local lab, and being a general assistant for more and more tasks. Conceptually, S.A.G.E. will be like a real world JARVIS or other fictional AI that is only limited by the creator's imagination!

Planning So Far

The main idea as it stands so far: 1) Take an old desktop CPU, reconfigure it to an always on secure server. 2) Reconfigure Old Laptop #1 to use as a worker to the server 3) Reconfigure Old Laptop #2 to use as a sandbox environment 4) Set up Obsidian as a knowledge repository on the server 4) Configure Server to have a local LLM AI, and use API credits to a commercial one if needed (testing dependant) 5) Setup memory for AI, create vector database, and S.A.G.E. personality 6) Setup UI 7) Test system on local network 8) Build Secure Access from anywhere 9) Test everywhere! Once this is all complete we have a great base for expanding AetherOS, beginning more work in Project Sprite, and have lots more to show in relation to projects we are working on and immersive applications for some of our creative projects!
