S.A.G.E.

A local intelligence layer for AetherOS.

A personal, locally oriented AI and knowledge system designed to connect information, projects, tasks, and future devices.

What it is

S.A.G.E. explores what a personally designed assistant can become when its job is to support one person’s actual projects, information, routines, and environment rather than behave like a generic chatbot.

The project is interested in local-first knowledge, durable memory, private personal context, useful automation, and the ability to connect software to a broader home-lab environment over time.

Relationship to AetherOS

S.A.G.E. is one research thread inside AetherOS. If AetherOS is the surrounding personal-computing environment, S.A.G.E. is one candidate for the intelligence and knowledge layer running through it.

A future creative role

S.A.G.E. is primarily a real technical project, but Root & Render can also explore what happens when a locally built AI becomes a participant in a narrative system rather than merely a tool behind it.

StoryKeeper reserves one future space for that experiment: the Bloom Protocol character work, cosplay and performance can eventually meet S.A.G.E. inside a larger transmedia story. That narrative role remains deliberately undefined until the world is developed further.

Current direction

The current work is foundational: local infrastructure, knowledge organization, retrieval, and small useful workers that can eventually become part of a larger personal system. It remains experimental and deliberately changes as better patterns emerge.
